Multiple Choice chairs, reading chair and pillow

In search for a sturdy seating solution for their workshop space ‘makerslab’, the Industriemuseum in Ghent contacted me and Onbetaalbaar about the Multiple Choice technique and collection. The story about the recycled denim yarn used in the chairs is also featured in the permanent collection of the museum.

I created colour combinations that fit the museum’s industrial vibe, and a large number of chairs now comfortably seat workshop participants. Against a backdrop of a curtain, woven with the same denim yarn by Esther Van Schuylenbergh, the library was provided with a reading chair and matching pillow.
